Netley Sailing Club takes safeguarding very seriously. There will be a safeguarding briefing at the clubhouse at 9am on Wednesday morning. Please ensure that you attend so that we can brief you on the procedures we have in place and answer any questions you may have.

Photography & social media
Please respect others' privacy at all times during Youth Week and remember that it is not appropriate to include photos of other people's children in social media posts without consent from their parents. From the Netley Sailing Club Safeguarding Policy: Parents and spectators should be prepared to identify themselves if requested and state their purpose for photography / filming to ensure that these are in line with NSC codes of conduct and good practice. Organisers and a designated photographer will be taking images / video throughout the week to be used for 'daily highlights' that will be displayed in the clubhouse, an end-of-week highlights compilation, and for posts on the closed Netley Sailing Club social media group. If you do not want your child to appear in any of this content, please let us know by emailing admin@netleysc.co.uk.
